Common: The lingua franca of Hesperia. Spread by the far-reaching Julian Empire, Common is a guttertongue; a bastard language that has been passed to all peoples of the realm. It has regional variations and dialects, but for the most part you can manage to convey your meaning to other humans. Common is also used by Halflings and Tieflings, who have evolved alongside their fallen Empire’s language. It uses the Julian / Common alphabet.
Draconic: The language of the Dragons is an ancient one that predates even the Time of Monsters – the cataclysmic era before Mankind’s hegemony. It uses its own alphabet, and is still spoken by the dragons that remain in Hesperia. However, it is also used as a scholarly or archaeological language, since during their reign it was used as a similar lingua franca between the various races.

A common language amongst monstrous languages, it came from the far East when the great Golden Horde swept across the land. Some races- ogres, giants – have adopted it.
Goblin: Goblin is a difficult language to classify, but it appears as a pidgin language between goblin and giant. It is spoken by all the goblinoid races – goblins, hobgoblins, some fey, peerie trow, trolls, and bugbears.
