The heirs to a long-destroyed empire, Tieflings are the demon and devil-cursed remnants of Julia’s ruling families. The Julii , Scipii, and Brutii noble families controlled the Julian Empire and under their rule, Julia and its domains flourished. But on the Longest Night, the might of the Julian Empire collapsed as the noble families made bids for power and wealth. They and all their descendants are cursed with a fiendish heritage.
In addition, anyone with fiendish blood in their heritage could well be a Tiefling.
+2 Charisma, +2 Intelligence, –2 Wisdom: Tieflings are quick in body and mind, but are inherently strange and have skewed perceptions.
Senses: Tieflings have darkvision (60 feet.)
Skilled: Tieflings have a +2 racial bonus on Bluff and Stealth checks.
Spell-Like Ability: Tieflings can use darkness 1/day as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability equals the tiefling’s class level.
Fiendish Resistance: Tieflings have cold resistance 5, electricity resistance 5, and fire resistance 5.
Fiendish Sorcery: Tiefling sorcerers with the Abyssal or Infernal bloodline treat their Charisma score as 2 points higher for all sorcerer class abilities.
Bloodhunt: Once per day, as a free action, Tieflings can add their Charisma modifier an attack roll or damage roll (but not both). This must be activated before the attack roll or damage roll is physically rolled.
Languages: Tieflings begin play speaking Common and either Abyssal or Infernal. Tieflings with high Intelligence scores can choose any of the following: Abyssal, Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Infernal, and Orc.
